VOTE BOB RYAN November 2nd
RESTORE & REVIVE RIEGELSVILLE
Dear Riegelsville Resident,
Hi. I’m BOB RYAN and I’m running for Riegelsville borough council on Tuesday November 2nd.
Here’s what I’ll do on borough council to help make Riegelsville better:
Provide transparency so you actually know what’s going on in the borough with your tax money
Start maintaining and improving the borough roads, buildings & water system
Work together with every resident by responding to all of your concerns and suggestions
Improve the prospects of Riegelsville’s business district (do you like the empty storefronts?)
Stop the rot & corruption that the current borough council hides from you (more on that on this website!)
VOTE BOB RYAN to RESTORE and REVIVE RIEGELSVILLE
VOTE BOB RYAN to have a borough government that actually RESPONDS to you
VOTE BOB RYAN to STOP THE CORRUPTION
Today is the start of REALRIEGELSVILLE.COM - the place to get REAL Riegelsville borough council news now and in the future. Seriously, what you read below is just the beginning…
November 2nd, 2021 is the most important election in Riegelsville history. Know that:
Your vote decides if we keep going along with a borough council that allows incumbent streets/properties councilman Edward Bartosiewicz to commit THEFT by taking building supplies out of the basement for his own private use. Taxpayer cost to date hiding it from you is in the THOUSANDS of dollars. A vote for Bartosiewicz is a vote for failed infrastructure.
Your vote decides if we approve of incumbent finance councilwoman Kate Brandes somehow gaining the use of the borough lawyer to respond to a COMPLAINT OF HER ABUSE OF HER OWN DOG. You Riegelsville taxpayers paid $512.50 answering HER DOG ABUSE COMPLAINT.
Your vote decides if we keep going along with a borough council that allows Brandes to use the BOROUGH SOLICITOR AS HER OWN PRIVATE LAWYER because she doesn't know what day it is on her candidate petition for this very election. Brandes thought you wouldn’t find out.
Your vote decides if we keep on DECLINING into whatever SAD VISION our 30-year incumbent Borough Council President Tom Stinnett has for OUR Riegelsville.
Is the condition of Riegelsville roads, buildings and businesses getting better to you? Have you ever wondered about the safety and operation of our water supply? Have you had an idea to make Riegelsville better and were ignored? Had a concern you brought up that was dismissed and blown off? Do you want a say in how $89,178 in COVID relief funds is spent? Were you as a resident even aware of the COVID relief funds? It’s time to stand together for Riegelsville.
VOTE BOB RYAN — RESTORE and REVIVE RIEGELSVILLE!
VOTE BOB RYAN — And I guarantee a stop to Stinnett and his other council members from all the corruption you read here and on back. This is only the beginning… VOTE BOB RYAN!

Things you MUST know:
Bartosiewicz
Incumbent in charge of borough streets & properties. Are they looking better to you?
Told me he does a lot for the borough which is an interesting way of saying that he loads up his van with new taxpayer paid roofing supplies and drive away with it. More here
Covid relief funds
Let me guess… you residents had no idea Riegelsville is receiving $89,178 in COVID Relief Funds. Hey, I can’t blame you - the borough website and R’Ville Happenings don’t do the job of keeping residents up to date with council operations. Did you know other small boroughs/townships in the area held special meetings to discuss what to do with the money. Not Rieglesville.
Brandes
Incumbent in charge of borough finance. Thinks borough taxpayers would never find out about the use of borough solicitor responding to her own dog abuse complaint. Also thinks you won’t find out she used borough solicitor as her own private lawyer because there is no February 29, 2021. Yet still votes on solicitor’s monthly invoices.
Hey Kate, answer this for Riegelsville residents: What kind of ethical example do you think you’re setting for Riegelsville’s younger residents? Should they have faith in their local government?
Restore & REVIve riegelsville
We truly live in a jewel of a borough on the Delaware River. You’ve been around the the region - how do we compare?
One resident recently told me her 90 year old grandmother said to her “Oh, I used to love to be in and go to Riegelsville’s downtown! It used to be so nice years ago… but now it just looks like a dump.”
Stinnett’s sad vision
Incumbent borough council president for 30+ years. He’s probably not going to like it when you ask him about corruption, but remember it is your borough tax money. Says he reviews and approves solicitor invoices. Look around the borough and this website and ask yourself how he’s doing.
You know it’s tIME FOR CHANGE
I’ve talked to A LOT of you residents over these years - and you’ve shared stories of your own frustration dealing with “Stinnettsville.” You know it’s time for a change.
