On your November 2nd ballot is incumbent Kate Brandes. Did you know that in December 2017 Brandes received a complaint from Rieglesville Constable at her home address about HER MISTREATMENT OF HER DOG. The complaint states that the dog was left outside in the cold and that the dog “cries, barks and shivers, in attempt to escape the conditions.” See complaint for yourself below. Is this true? DOG ABUSE BY COUNCILWOMAN? Go ask Brandes and the Constable who wrote the complaint for yourself.
We residents would have never known of this DOG ABUSE complaint, but for this: In January 2018, somehow the borough lawyer Dudeck is involved by calling/writing about the DOG ABUSE complaint - and you THE RIEGELSVILLE TAXPAYER PAID $512.50 for it! See all the letters/invoices below.
Definitely ask Brandes (and Stinnett who reviews all the solicitor invoices which, for fun, you can hear him say on audio) what is going on and ask them when you’ll be getting your $512.50 tax money back.
Here’s another: In March 2021, Brandes submits a candidate petition to run for re-election to your borough council. Some of Brandes’ date lines on her petition have a date of “February 29, 2021.” When? (Go glance at your calendar now).
